Turbo Rum yeast

The TURBO RUM yeast is a combination of highly alcoholising distillery yeast and a properly selected nutrient.

This mix has been designed in order to obtain the characteristic taste of rum. It is best when applied with molasses or cane sugar as the feedstock.

How to use: In a fermenter, dissolve 7 kg of cane sugar or 5 kg of sugar 2 kg of molasses in 21 L of hot water.
After the batch cools down to the temperature of 25-30⁰C, add the sachet content and mix it in thoroughly.
Subject the whole batch to about 7 days of fermentation in the temperature of 25-28°C. We recommend enriching the finished product by adding vanilla oak chips, Heavy Toast oak chips, or an oak infusion stick.

Ingredients: yeast, diammonium phosphate, potassium phosphate, magnesium sulphate, thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1).
Store in a dry and cool place.
